Brett Dancer, the Owner of Trackmode Recordings in Brooklyn, New York
Brett Dancer is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He released his first record for the then fledgling label, Black Nation, which was to be the first release on that label. In 1993, Brett moved to New York to explore his evolving musical explorations. Shortly there after in 95 Brett started Trackmode Recordings with its first release The Underground Experience. Trackmode allowed Brett to control all artistic aspects of his and other deep house soldiers artistic direction. Trackmode with its evolving releases has been on the forefront of the deep house community. Featuring Releases from Such Artists as Jordan Fields, Larry Heard, Chris Gray , & Shake. Trackmode is a label that is respected by the only the deepest DJ. Brett when not in the Studio is Djing in as far away places as Brazil and Germany. He is a multi-talented DJ and Producer.

Brett Dancer Biography
Brett, like the majority of the American artists, does not make the things with half. Indeed, residing at Michigan, Djaying represents only one form of expression paramount, necessary and complementary to its activities of producer, type-setter, singer, engineer of studio and Live Performer.
Its meeting with Jay DENHAM, first artist to be signed on the label Black Nation (Strait), was decisive at the beginning of his career of producer at the beginning of the Nineties. In 93, Brett settles in New York, consequently are his musical orientations which change while evolving to Deep-House intermingled with rich and deep, jazz inspired grooves.
In 95, having acquired a certain musical maturity but eager to affirm his role of producer, he created Trackmode Recordings in which he controls all the stages going of the artistic direction until the distribution. Brett can then affirm his musical identity by managing his own compositions freely as well as by ensuring the realization of many projects with famous Tony RODRIGUEZ (Sound Of Music) and Carlos SANCHEZ (Dj & producer newyorkais).
Logical continuation of its evolution, the label is directed today towards France hat Brett regards as the most creative country and most receptive at the present time. It is thus among us that will be made the launching of the first album of Trackmode: ABSTRACT FUSION.
It gathers 10 compositions (including 5 new) artists such as Moodyman, Larry Heard, Mike Grant or Franckie Valentine, and obviously Brett Dancer.
This work asserts the state of mind House, Deep Funky, Soul Groovy of the label, it reigns there a festive environment and a joy in life unmatched. One would believe oneself on a tropical island where the splash of the waves would agree marvelously with the echo of tribal sounds glossed into these beautiful electronic sequences.
