DJ Diz Tore It Up in Portland April 14, 2000 Renegade Rhythms proudly presented DJ Diz to Portland, OR on Friday, April 14. He played a set for Truth -- friday nites. As a producer, Diz's records are distributed and played widely. Mainy djs around the world have his records on their top 10 lists. But Diz established his international reknown for his ability to control crowds and to transform dance floors into energized groovin' stomping grounds. He certainly did that at Zoot Suite as he showed off his skill and made it look easy. "DJ Diz spun a fat set!" replied DJ Bliss. "Last night was incredible! Terrence Parker is sick! But so was Diz!" exclaimed Jalepeno. He submerged Zoot Suite with deep house. Diz filled the evening with haunting soul. Some of the tracks were so deep that you did not know whether to cry or laugh.
