DJ Heather and Genesis Rock Portland for the Set it Off Tour 2000 Stop
Flyer - front | back
March 17, 2000

Heather started rocking the scene 10 years ago in Chicago. Her skill and energy have gained her international success. As one third of Chicago's only all female DJ collective, Superjane, Heather has been touring internationally, including a stop in Portland for the Set it Off -- Tour 2000 -- All Female Revue. In fact, she has played more overseas, than she has in the United States. She has shared the stage with groups like Jamiroquai, Black Grape, and DJs like Mark Farina, and J-Dub.

Heather is a Chicago house pioneer trained in the art of transforming dance floors into jumpin'-bumpin' stomping ground. Quickly becoming one of America's most in demand DJ, Heather has demonstrated her sharp ability to take hold of the masses - From Vancouver to Toronto, to Berlin, France and Ibiza, Heather is tearing up the floors.

Some of her more recent appearances include the Ministry of Sound, Berlin's Love Parade (1999), and the Mushroom Jazz 2 Tour. She certainly brought all that experience to Zoot Suite in Portland. Her house vibe kept people stomping through the night with her lively grooves.

Our only female resident, DJ Irie, opened up the scene as people were filing in. She filled the room with grooves that left people yearning for more. Genesis kept the flow smooth with her own bumping house music until Heather took over the decks.
