Renegade Rhythms is proud to present one of the pioneers of house music,
Mr Fingers
himself, Larry Heard.
Larry Heard is one of the most respected names in House Music. As Mr.
Fingers he has
produced some of the classics of the genre starting with "Mystery of
Love" in 1985, through
"Stars", "Washing Machine", and the anthem "Can you Feel It".
Originating from
Chicago, Illinois, where he is recognized for his activity in the
progressive music
community, Larry was a multi-keyboardist in local Jazz, R & B, and
Reggae bands dating
back to 1977. His youngest brothers dubbed him "LosseFingers",
enthralled by his swift
hand movements, while dj-ing and dabling with Synthesizers, guitars, and
electric bass.
On November 22nd, Mister Heard will bringing those fingers to a pair of
turntables in the
Northweset for the very first time.
Accompanying Mr Heard on the one and twos is the intimitable Brett
Dancer from Trackmode
Recordings, New York City. The multi=talented Mr. Dancer is a producer,
DJ and label
owner, and has worked wiht some of America's most prolific dance music
masters such
as Anthony "Shake" Shakir, Larry Heard, Jay Denham, His TrackMode
imprint will shortly see
it's twenty-fifth release. He is unstoppable.
