RB's success story still in the making Robert Barrett aka “still waters”
epitomises the metaphor that still waters do run deep.
An international DJ, and M. D efficiently running and directing his own
London based record label “Music is…”.
His Dj'ing Aspect is ever expanding from London Three Chairs Project with
the likes of Kenny Dixon Junior, Theo Parrish) to Iceland, playing alongside
Tommy White.
Most recent gig..., was at Vapour club, London. A very successful launch of
RB's second CD. Abstract Fusion Part two.
The DJ line up consisted of Brett Dancer (Trackmode, New York) Theo Parrish
(Detroit) and the legendary Larry Heard(New York) A seriously 'firing'
night was had by all.
Music is...Launch
Robert wanted very much, to be a vessel for the music and chose to push deep
house. His ultimate aim to bring new talent into the arena. Talent that
he brought to the forefront through promotion, of new and also some
existing artists, track’s.
The Formulation of Abstract Fusion, CD came about primarily, after a late
night transatlantic discussion. Between Robert and Trackmode’s Brett Dancer,
about the unsung pioneers, the cutting edge artist's that do not get fair
recognition for thier talent.
This proved to a ‘catalytic’ spark that ignited the burning collaboration
of Track mode (New York and Music is... Records (London).
The outcome the acclaimed ‘spiritual upliftment’ CD Abstract Fusion part
one... a first Compact Disc that is gaining momentum in aspects in terms
of. Global sales, underground recognition, and a ‘throng’ of artist’s
requesting to be included... All in all a purveying, a selection of very
successful tracks.
Abstraction Fusion part two due for release in the UK, States and Japan.
