A possible clue into what into what the title means.

The tales he had heard said the Darkhounds ran the night in the Wild Hunt, with the Dark One himself the hunter, they left no print on even the softest dirt, only on stone, and they would not stop until you faced and defated them or put running water between you. Crossroads were supposed to be particularly dangerous places to meet them, and the time just after sunset or just before sunrise. He had seen enough old storeies walking by now to believe that any of it could be true.

Tor announced that book 10 of the Wheel of Time will be called Crossroads of Twilight.

Recently Robert Jordan e-mailed us to tell us about this progress about Book 10: "Book Ten is coming along well. I hope. I am still aiming at finishing by the end of next spring, but I never do know exactly until I and almost at the end. In part this is because I rewrite constantly, so even when I know there are, for example, only three chapters left, while writing those three chapters I may rewrite ten or twelve other chapters as well." We're still guessing that it will be in May or June, but NO PROMISES!

Turns out June of 2002 is just a good guess. Amazon.com has REMOVED their link on the site and you can no longer pre-order Book 10 rom them.
